The structure and articulation of this article has been made in
consideration of Renato De Fusco’s magisterium, addressing to
his books and his essays, and specified in occasion of our frequently meeting when I submitted to him my publish urging for
his judgment or when we were arguing, merely, in a cultural area
more open and interdisciplinary. Then there was our work together, when we published historiographical criteria to recounting
events and protagonists of architecture: since then I shared Renato’s judgment on historiographical choice as a “creation”, finetuned from time to time to adopt a method, of an operative criteria. And De Fusco persuaded me to “artifice historiographical”
need: in the following pages, it consists into circumscribing a
moment of the history of architecture between the projects and
the coeval critic’s reaction; a choice made by the strictly synchrony between a datum and its reception, excluding judgments and
comments, although enlightening, formulated years later, thus,
following the terms of a different, legitimate, contemporaneity
