Abstract
A plurality of new titles – lighter and without the pretension to truth – is more necessary than ever to get out from the shallows of forgettable information at the speed with which we can access it. We must not be afraid to build new platforms like the issues of Luigi Moretti’s historic “Spazio” or the unforgettable ten issues of Marco de Michelis’ “Ottagono”. I hope to be able to revitalize my own “Dromos” which, ten years ago, tried, in five issues, to detach itself from contingency. “I promise that I will”: the last statement of Gambardella’s article synthesize the author’s reflection on the topic of the nature of architectural magazines, of their present necessity, and their expected features.
